re: Aside 2, Aside 3 of previous entry
Aside 4
“Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions.” –Eddie Van Halen
Julie Doiron is my wife, shorties. Not really, she’s that bearded guy’s wife and she’s having babies on the Canadian tundra. But she sure can make a borror video. The end will just break your little frog heart. This song, and really, this entire Woke Myself Up album, is just fucking miserable and perfect for mornings where your apartment is cold as a meat locker and you have all kindsa shit.
Aside: I am wearing 4 different types of stripes and plaids today in the same outfit
Aside 2: did I remember to put on deodorant
Aside 3: I guess I’ll find out
[But you should probably process it on gchat, for your own sake.]
me: something woke me
Patrick: when do you use awoke
when you’re the subject?
i awoke.
?
me: I awoke to __
I think you can also say “I woke to”
something awakened me
something woke me
something punched me in the face and I woke up
Patrick: AND IT WAS A DEER WITH NO SKIN
so i fought it
off
and said, get the fuck out of here IM TRYING TO SLEEP
and it sulked away
true story
drink some tea
walk the dog
eat something
take a pill if you want
listen to a song
get back to me if this doesn’t work, but I know it will.
= moderate boredom + moderate horror
Happy National Coming Out Day, 2 days late. On the day, I went to see Lily Tomlin speak at UNCG and she was acrobatic and funny, despite closing in on the seven-oh. Lots of spirit fingers. That’s how I want to be. Still throwing myself out there, you know, connecting.
